Welcome to Encouragement for End-times Endurance.

Twice in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus says "...he who endures to the end will be saved." (10:22, 24:13)

The purpose of this ministry is to encourage believers during these last days so that they might endure and be saved; so that they might hear Jesus say to them, "Well done good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of the Lord."

As a pastor for the past 19 years, I have been challenged by several things:

1. Consumerism among church members which can tempt a pastor to shy away from preaching such things as repentance, suffering for the Gospel, and what genuine conversion involves.

2. Movements among the churches which sweep up their share of members from local churches that don't embrace the movement.

3. Incomplete or inaccurate theology, where the Bible is made to conform to the desires of the people instead of vice versa.

For years I have appreciated those ministers of the Gospel who could come into my church and tackle the tough issues. This is the assistance which Encouragement for End-Times Endurance is ready and able to offer. By exploring the whole counsel of God, including a biblical "pre-wrath" view of the rapture, by God's grace we will counter these phenomena and accomplish our purpose. In this manner, we are here to help the local church minister genuine salvation and the keeping power of God in these end-times.
Scripture for the Day

In these troubles times, God promises......

to give you peace...

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)
6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
7  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Happy 4th of July. Please pray for our country, that she would once again honor God, and pray for our troops. As an audio/visual reminder, click this link to "You Are the Ones" (video)

A MINISTRY WHOSE TIME HAS COME
A government big enough to give you everything you want,
is strong enough to take everything you have.

....Thomas Jefferson
In the midst of a present environment where each day's crisis is followed by two or three more, listen.......

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NIV)7 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

On December 30, 2008, I received an encouraging letter from Marv Rosenthal (www.zionshope.org) that had this little note included: "Due to recent budget cuts and thecost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current Market conditions and the continued decline in the U.S. economy, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off." As it depicts doom and gloom, that light has been turned off for a long time. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (NIV)9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.  But, as it depicts the condition in which we should now live, that light has never burned brighter. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 (NIV)5 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
